Needs List

The Daily Planet welcomes certain material donations. Our specific needs may change but the list below includes items we always need. Donated items can be brought to our 517 W. Grace Street location Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Bus cards · new pillows · twin sheet sets · twin size comforters · washcloths · towels · detergent · bleach · paper towels · toilet paper · plastic utensils · cleaning supplies · bottled water · pre-paid phone cards · hot & cold cereal

Bus cards: transportation is one of the biggest barriers for our patients. This is why bus cards are always needed and very appreciated. Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC) has a fare-card system with values of $5 and $10. Cards are available at many local CVS and Kroger stores. We no longer take clothing donations or toiletry items. We do not have the storage space or needed resources to operate a clothing closet.
