Craig Health Center and Daily Planet Health Care Center Join Forces

The management of Irvin Gammon Craig Health Center (CHC) located on the campus of St. Joseph's Villa recently came under the management of The Daily Planet. CHC serves primarily a population of women and children providing chronic disease management as well as preventive care. "By sharing resources, The Irvin Gammon Craig Health Center and The Daily Planet have an opportunity to provide a more coordinated and potentially more cost effective access to quality health care to the community's homeless and other low income uninsured or under insured individuals and families", said Jeffrey S. Cribbs, Executive Director of the Richmond Memorial Health Foundation, a funder of health programs for both organizations. The Daily Planet is pleased to extend its programs and services to CHC patients.
