| Spades: A BOOK WITH OUT A COVER OPENS AT FIREHOUSE THEATRE |
|
(Richmond, VA) - The Theatre from the Streets Project presented the original work SPADES: a book without a cover on April 2nd and 3rd.
SPADES... is a collection of the life stories and life journeys of the people who live on the streets and in the shelters of our collective communities. It talks about the real life triumphs and tragedies that play themselves out in people's everyday lives. And it uncovers the reality of how closely the lives of the homeless intersects with the lives we all live everyday. The script has a musical score that has been created through a collaboration of the company members and gives the production moments of both play and pathos.
